What you can do without an account

Start a Quick schedule from the home page without creating an account. You get two links, and you share one of them with the people you are inviting. They do not need an account either.

You are not asked for email addresses. People answer with just a name, which makes this a good fit for people outside your company or for a wider audience.

Two ways to collect answers

Pick one when you create the page. You cannot switch afterwards, so choose the one that fits.

Vote on proposed times

You list times such as "3 Oct, 14:00-15:00" and each person answers yes, maybe, or no. This works well when you already have three to ten candidates in mind.

Collect the hours people are free

You set only a date range and a window of hours. People drag across a calendar-style grid to paint when they are free.

This works well when you cannot narrow the candidates down in advance, when there are many participants, or when the length of the meeting is itself up for discussion.

Two URLs are issued, and they do different things. Be careful who you give each one to.

The participant link is the one you share with the people answering.

The organiser link is for checking responses and confirming the time. Keep it to yourself. Anyone who has it can confirm the schedule, so do not include it in a message to participants.

It cannot be reissued. If you lose the organiser link you can no longer confirm that page, so bookmark it or send yourself a note.

When the data is removed

A Quick schedule page becomes unavailable 90 days after the last activity, and is deleted after that.

Responses count as activity. Every time somebody answers, the 90 days start again. Confirming a time does the same thing: it extends the window rather than removing it.

Confirming does not make the page permanent. If you want to keep the record, hand the page over to an account as described below.

What an account adds

From the organiser link you can hand a Quick schedule over to an account. Once you do, the retention limit no longer applies and the page is not deleted after 90 days.

An account also gives you calendar sync so candidate times come from your own availability, email confirmations and reminders, automatic meeting URLs, and booking links that stay up permanently.

Quick schedule includes none of those. It exists as a quick way to settle a one-off conversation.
