When you do not want to make people sign up
Asking someone outside your company to register for a tool is a real cost, especially for a one-off exchange. Press interviews, sales meetings, sessions involving several companies, briefing an external speaker: in all of these, "no sign-up required" is itself a condition.
Quick schedule needs no account on either side, and participants are not asked for an email address.
Two ways to collect answers
Pick one when you create the page; it cannot be changed afterwards.
With voting on proposed times, you list the candidates and each person answers yes, maybe, or no. Good when three to ten candidates are already in mind.
With collecting free hours, you set only a date range and a window, and people drag across a grid to paint when they are free. Good when the candidates cannot be narrowed down in advance, or there are simply too many people to guess.
How it goes
Create the page from Quick schedule on the home page, then share the participant link.
Keep the organiser link to yourself. Anyone holding it can confirm the schedule, so do not include it in the message to participants. It cannot be reissued.
From the organiser link you check the responses and settle the time. You do not have to wait for everyone.
How long the page lasts
The page becomes unavailable 90 days after the last activity and is deleted after that. Responses count as activity, so the clock restarts whenever someone answers.
Confirming a time extends the window rather than removing it. To keep the record, hand the page over to an account from the organiser link — the retention limit then no longer applies.
When this is not the right fit
If you want confirmation emails, reminders before the start, candidate times drawn from your own calendar, or you are scheduling with the same people repeatedly, create an account and use the full scheduling methods instead.
