Creating an account
There are two ways to create an account. Here are the password requirements, and what to check when the confirmation email does not arrive.

There are two ways to create an account: with an email address and a password, or with Google. Take the email route and you cannot sign in until you open the URL in the confirmation email. Either route creates one organisation that is yours alone.
Two ways to create an account
The sign-up screen is at /en/sign-up. It asks for three things: a display name, an email address, and a password. The display name has to be between 1 and 255 characters.
For the Google route, press “Get started with Google” on either the sign-up screen or the sign-in screen. Pressing it when you have no account yet does not create one on the spot. A confirmation screen headed “No account found” comes first, and the account is created only when you press “Create new account” there.
| Item | Email address and password | Get started with Google |
|---|---|---|
| Setting a password | Required | Not required |
| Confirmation email | You cannot sign in until you open the URL that arrives | None |
| When you can start using it | Once you have opened the URL in the confirmation email | As soon as you press create on the confirmation screen |
The password needs 12 characters and all four character types
The password has to satisfy all of the following. Miss any one of them and you cannot register.
- Between 12 and 128 characters
- Includes an upper case letter
- Includes a lower case letter
- Includes a digit
- Includes a symbol
If it falls short, the screen shows “Password must be at least 12 characters and include uppercase/lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.”
You cannot sign in until you open the URL in the confirmation email
Once you submit the form the screen changes to “Your request to create an account was received” and the confirmation email is sent. The URL in it is valid for 24 hours by default.
Sign in before you have opened that URL and the password is not what is wrong: the screen shows “Your email address has not been verified yet. Please complete your registration using the URL in the confirmation email.” The same screen carries “Resend confirmation email”, which sends a fresh one. That is also how you get a new URL once the first has expired.
If the confirmation email does not arrive, work down this list
- Check whether it was filed into the spam folder
- Check the email address you entered for a typo
- Check whether your side is applying a delivery restriction or a filter
- Check whether that address is already registered (try signing in, or resetting the password)
The screen shown right after you sign up starts with the same point: “If nothing arrives after a while, check your spam folder.” Everything about not being able to sign in is collected in What to check when you cannot sign in.
Registering creates one organisation of your own
Creating an account also creates a single organisation, named “(your display name) の workspace”, and you become its administrator (tenant-admin). Scheduling and members are both handled inside that organisation. That default name is not translated, so it reads the same whichever display language you use.
You can change it under “Management” > “Organization settings”, in the “Organization name” field; changing it needs administrative rights over the organisation. You cannot create a second organisation yourself. The one made for you at registration is the only one there is. Inviting members and handing out permissions is covered in Inviting members and managing your organisation.
A Quick schedule made before you registered can be carried over from the organiser page
A Quick schedule created without an account is carried over from “Transfer this schedule to your account” on the organiser page, which opens from the organiser URL. If you are not signed in, go through “Log in or register to transfer” first; after signing in you are returned to the organiser page, on the same device and in the same browser.
Carrying over works from the organiser URL only. Holding the organiser token is the sole proof of ownership, so the participant URL cannot do it. Once carried over, the 90-day automatic deletion no longer applies, and the URL and the answers already collected go on working unchanged. See Using Quick schedule without an account for the rest.
After registering, start with the calendar and meeting tool connections
Calendar and meeting tool connections belong to each person, not to the organisation. With a calendar connected, Booking link, Group booking link and Team availability drop the times that are already taken from the candidates they offer. Poll candidates are lined up by the host, so calendar entries do not narrow them. The steps are in Connecting your calendar and meeting tool.
The only thing “Account settings” offers is the choice of display language. The three options are “Japanese”, “English” and “Use browser setting”.
