What the integration does

Tokiawase is a scheduling SaaS operated by ClassAct, Inc. When a host connects a Webex account, Tokiawase can create a Webex meeting for a confirmed scheduling event and store the join URL in Tokiawase so participants can join the meeting.

The integration is initiated by the Tokiawase user from the Tokiawase integration settings page. Tokiawase does not create Webex meetings unless the user connects Webex and selects Webex as the meeting provider for a scheduling event.

Required accounts and eligibility

Tokiawase accountA ClassAct internal account is not required. New users can create a Tokiawase account from https://tokiawase.com/en/sign-up, verify their email address, and then open the integration settings page.
Webex accountThe host who wants Tokiawase to create Webex meetings must connect their own Cisco Webex account and authorize Tokiawase.
Webex meeting capabilityThe connected Webex account must be allowed to schedule Webex meetings through the Webex APIs. In production, this typically means a Webex Meetings-capable business account or paid Webex license. If the user's Webex plan cannot create meetings, Tokiawase cannot issue Webex join URLs for that account.
Organization policySome Webex organizations restrict third-party integrations. If an administrator blocks user-level integrations or the required scopes, the user must ask their Webex administrator to allow the Tokiawase integration.
Requested Webex scopesTokiawase requests meeting:schedules_write to create meetings selected by the user, and spark:people_read to identify the connected Webex account.

How to get started

  • Create a Tokiawase account at https://tokiawase.com/en/sign-up. Existing Tokiawase users can log in at https://tokiawase.com/en/login.
  • Verify the email address from the confirmation email, then log in to Tokiawase.
  • Open the authenticated Tokiawase application and go to the integration settings page.
  • In the meeting provider section, choose Webex and start the connection flow.
  • On the Cisco Webex authorization screen, review the requested scopes and authorize Tokiawase.
  • Create or confirm a scheduling event in Tokiawase and select Webex as the meeting provider. Tokiawase creates the Webex meeting and stores the join URL on the event.
  • To stop access, return to the integration settings page and disconnect Webex. Tokiawase removes stored Webex tokens and stops calling Webex APIs for that account.

Business model and pricing

  • Tokiawase offers a Personal plan for individual scheduling use. The current public entry plan is free within the limits shown on the Tokiawase website.
  • Team and Enterprise plans are intended for organizations that need member management, audit controls, external integrations, and administrative support. Pricing is provided on the Tokiawase website, quote, order form, or customer agreement. For sales or customer care, contact tokiawase-admins@classact.co.jp.
  • Cisco Webex subscriptions and Webex account charges are billed separately by Cisco or the user's Webex provider. Tokiawase does not include or resell Webex licenses.
  • Tokiawase does not charge a separate App Hub installation fee for connecting Webex. Tokiawase service usage follows the user's Tokiawase plan.

Webex data use and safeguards

  • meeting:schedules_write is used only to create Webex meetings selected by the connected Tokiawase user for confirmed scheduling events.
  • spark:people_read is used to read the connected user's basic Webex identity, such as email address, so Tokiawase can show which account is connected.
  • Webex OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest and are not displayed in the Tokiawase UI, logs, issues, pull requests, or public documentation.
  • Tokiawase does not access or store Webex recordings, transcripts, messages, participant analytics, organization administration data, or unrelated Webex content.
  • When a user disconnects Webex, Tokiawase invalidates and removes stored Webex tokens and stops accessing Webex APIs for that account.
